WESTSIDE Bike Club, LLC (WSBC) is a Detroit-based creative studio and collaborative workspace built to help ideas move from concept to execution.
Despite the name, WSBC isn’t a traditional bike club. “Bike Club” represents movement, exploration, independence, and the energy of people moving forward together. That same spirit shapes how WESTSIDE approaches creativity, business, and community.
Based on Detroit’s west side, WSBC connects entrepreneurs, brands, organizations, and artists with the strategy, creative direction, design, marketing, and production resources needed to bring projects to life. The studio also serves as a space for collaboration, meetings, programming, and building a growing network of local creative talent.
Founded by Jerel Smothers, a lifelong Detroit native, WSBC grew out of a desire to give creatives from disadvantaged communities greater access to resources, economic power, and opportunities. Having witnessed the gaps that often exist between talent, opportunity, and execution, Jerel envisioned a space where people could connect, build, and turn ideas into tangible work.
WSBC is more than an office or agency. It is a home for ideas, collaboration, and creative production rooted in Detroit and designed to grow alongside the people it serves.
